We got alot more done this week and the playfield is starting to look like the final result we wanted to have!
The bottom of the map and some other corners were missing some assets so we made some major changes.
A modular road now runs around the playground and an entrance to the playground has been added. This will be another place where the zombies can walk onto the playground.
Roadblocks to keep the players on the field have also been added and textured, this is a fun way to keep the player from running off the map without invisible collision boxes.
An updated model of the sewers:
The school building has been modeled and textured, not in optimal lighting in this screenshot but that's still something we'll play around with later on. Our main focus is the treehouse.
We also decided to make diffent textures for our characters so that people can know who they are much easier on the playfield. This is to avoid confusion and frustration.
The ui has been updated with ammo instead of items.
We also added a shop mechanic to the game. here you can buy ammo for your guns. the prices still have to be balanced.
The shops are used by walking over them
Fence have also been given a cost.
We added a feature to swap weapons all weapons except the baseballbat start without ammo.
