Dev_Log07: The Way of the playground
We finally fixed a bug with the fence placement where if something died inside the validation square it would permanently remain invalid.
We also added player death. if the players health is 0 he will die and a gravestone will apear. Zombies will not attack the gravestone
If a living player gets near a gravestone he is able to interact with it to revive the dead player.
the artist heve also worked alot
The playground assets have been modelled but still need to be textured
To cap the borders of our playfield we're using some barricades at the ends of the roads.
For the first time we now also have our 3 fences together and finished!
What had to be really clear here is which is stronger and we're happy with the results. The wooden fence looks somewhat flimsy but not too strong. The stone wall looks alot beefier, but not invincible. The metal fence however instantly looks like a challenge to get trough.
We also updated our UI to make everything fit well together. We'll do much more of it during the polishing phase.
we gave each person a different color. And we added a nice frame around our shop:
even the shop got a little update
